Abstract

Finding the right US director position requires the applicant to reflect on career goals, ultrasound-related goals, and personal goals. Unique elements such as timing, salary, location, work responsibilities, departmental resources, and individual priorities impact the job search. Negotiation and contracts are discussed in general and in regard to ultrasound responsibilities.
