Abstract
In this concluding chapter, Shah draws together the empirical and theoretical strands in the previous chapters. He scrutinises their implications for our understanding of the roles of religion and sexuality in how society constructs ‘acceptable’ and ‘unacceptable’ identities. He also reflects upon the strengths and limitations of this work and proposes potential areas of further investigation.
