Abstract

Evaporation in wet and particularly in saturated soils depends on several factors. Temperature and relative humidity are two essential parameters for determining potential evaporation (PE). Water retention is a soil characteristic that will directly influence actual evaporation (AE). The objective of this paper is to determine the evaporation rate as a function of the degree of saturation of the soil.
