Abstract
This chapter introduces security engineering in software systems. Then the chapter provides overview of security and security risk management standards, security modelling approaches, domain-specific security languages and principles of model-driven security. Next, the chapter offers some insight into the multi-perspective secure system analysis. Finally, it presents the running example, which is use through the remainder of the book.
