Abstract
In this chapter, Tellegen’s theorem and the colored edge theorem are used as tools to get some general properties for a circuit such as reciprocity and passivity, results concerning the power balance, and the so-called no-gain properties. Henceforth, the word network is used to denote a generic portion of a circuit, that is, a composite multiport or a composite multiterminal.
