Abstract
Quality of life (specifically, healthcare-related quality of life) refers to the physical, emotional, and social aspects of one’s life. Because of the specific anatomic considerations of the groin, primary and secondary malignancies involving this area can have a serious impact on the quality of life as a result of either uncontrolled or progressive disease or complications of treatment. The importance of QoL considerations must be balanced with complexity of QoL measurement.
