Abstract

In this chapter, we are to discuss the stochastic modeling of a task that arrives in a system to receive service and leave. The system may have different types of features. We will start with some basic vocabularies and properties used in the modes discussed in the form of definitions, theorems, etc. Several variations of the basic model up to a relatively higher level will be discussed that will be useful for industry, business, and academia. Some available methods and tools to analyze the model and eventually find some of the standard measure of the models will also be offered and used in discussing the models.
