Epidemiology of Colorectal Cancer



This chapter will focus on the epidemiology of colorectal cancer, its incidence and mortality rates, and the factors that influence them. Moreover, the trends in colorectal cancer occurrence, particularly differences between the more and less developed regions, will be analyzed.
