Inherited Thrombophilias in Pregnancy
Inherited thrombophilias are associated with arterial and venous clots, as well as fetal loss. Risk for thromboembolic events with these conditions is increased significantly in the setting of a personal history or a family history of a venous thrombosis. Inherited thrombophilias are classified as low or high risk for thrombotic events during pregnancy .
