Abstract
This chapter discusses a diabetic female patient who had a left brachial-cephalic arteriovenous fistula (AVF) created. Immediately after surgery, the patient experienced severe hand and partial paralysis of the intrinsic muscles of her hand. She has continued to have this disability and is now being considered for a new access.
