Abstract
In this paper we discuss the pitfalls in the OO-paradigm for its application in conceptual analysis and subsequently its application in IS design. It is argued that there should exist a modeling procedure or methodology that guides the business domain analyst and the application designer on how to apply the OO modeling constructs in the different stages of the IS development life cycle.
