Abstract
This chapter moves ahead to the main focus of the book: the specific applications of systems thinking in the management area of school leadership. To this end, we review the existing literature on the implementation of systems thinking in school leadership. The literature on this topic primarily considers systems thinking as a method to be implemented for a large-scale change program or to improve a distinct area at school. Nevertheless, it is important to clarify how principals can operate a school holistically, using systems thinking during daily school life.
