Abstract
As it has been presented, in situ electrochemical techniques have been successfully applied in studying the details of both the electrodeposition and the redox transformation of conducting polymers. An even more adequate picture could be gained by hyphenating two in situ electrochemical methods. Every combination proved to be a powerful tool in elucidating the details of the process both at the molecular and the macroscopic levels. A final lesson of the presented chapters is that all these techniques are not restricted to studies on conducting polymers, but their use can be extended for all kind of electroactive layers.
