Abstract
Chapters 3–6 present several filter designs for the wireless networked control systems with energy constraints in a centralized framework. In the last a few years, the distributed filtering in wireless sensor networks (WSNs) has received a tremendous attention due to its potential applications in various areas such as target surveillance, information collection and environment monitoring Savic V, Wymeersch H, Zazo S (2014) Signal Process 95:149–160 [1].
