Abstract
In this chapter, we revisit the sensor-network-based control problem for a class of large-scale systems, and the energy constraint is still our main concern. To achieve the energy-efficiency goal, the measurement size reduction technique and communication rate reduction method are introduced in the control system design. Firstly, a time-varying sampling scheme is used in the sampling process, and only one element of the sampled data is then chosen and quantized for transmission.
