Abstract
Angiography is performed under sterile conditions with all necessary devices and equipment readily within reach of the angiographer. As most diagnostic and many interventional procedures are performed under conscious sedation, the room should be equipped with all required monitoring equipment and have necessary medications readily available. Assisting personnel should include nursing staff, preferably with critical care or emergency background, and radiology technicians familiar with the imaging equipment and techniques in use. The following is the example of the authors’ preferences.
