Abstract

Robot-assisted laparoscopic paraesophageal hernia repair and adjunct procedures are described in this chapter. Specifically, the chapter details indications and guidelines for operation, perioperative management strategies, description of room setup and patient positioning, trocar placement, platform docking and instrumentation, as well as operative techniques for robot-assisted laparoscopic paraesophageal hernia repair and adjunct procedures.
