Meteors and Meteorites

Part of the Astronomers' Universe book series (ASTRONOM)

For some observers, interest in astronomy was first sparked by the sight of a meteor blazing its way across the heavens. For some of the curious, the spark subsequently turned to a flame, as the desire to find out what they had seen soon followed. The wish to see more and in abundance would fan the flames, until the desire and passion for astronomy itself would take hold.
