Abstract
This chapter gives examples of how Islamic law is practiced in the Shari’ah courts. Three cases are thoroughly analyzed. It explains how judges are appointed and how they make their judgments. It concludes by emphasizing that the decision of the Islamic law courts can be appealed in the federal court of appeal.
