Abstract
Cybersecurity is one of the most pressing issues on the US national security agenda. The chapter begins with an examination of the impact of globalization, which has made the world more interconnected. The chapter then analyzes the evolution of cyberterrorism and cyber-attacks on businesses. This work also explores the policy responses of the US government with regard to cybersecurity. It concludes with a framework for combatting cybersecurity.
