Abstract
Staff training and development in caring for the client with dementia includes organizational development, evaluation of job descriptions, competencies, programs available, as well as whether to develop training programs in a face-to-face or online learning environment. Utilization of adult learning principles to achieve just-in-time training and daily huddles will assist in offering frequent reminders of principles of the formal educational program.
