Abstract
With data analytics becoming popular in the upstream oil and gas industry and finding its way into addressing some of the most important issues in the reservoir and production management of the unconventional resources such as shale, many big data analytics and data-driven modeling enthusiasts have decided to venture into the upstream oil and gas industry and test their talent in solving oil and gas-related problems.
