Abstract
For years now the relationship between traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) has been a controversial issue that seems to leave many unanswered questions. The most salient issue is whether an individual with a TBI can develop PTSD if they have no memory of the incident. While they share many commonalities, such as symptomatology, and even more obvious ones, like the fact that they both stem from a traumatic event, not all traumatic events result in TBI or PTSD.
