Abstract

The aim of the present thesis was to enable control over and investigate fundamental aspects of HIOS energy-level alignment comprising ZnO as the inorganic part. It was demonstrated that control over HIOS energy-level alignment can be realized via the “interlayer method” employing thin interlayers of organic donor or acceptor molecules between the HIOS constituents.

Physics is the only profession in which prophecy is not only accurate but routine.
