Abstract

In this chapter, an outline of the book will be given. First the concept of intergroup relations will be introduced, before proceeding with examples in which “prejudice” might have contributed to acts and decision making. This book is written for a general audience with no previous knowledge of social psychology or neuroscience. Thus the reader will determine the structure of the work and find out that a seemingly complex topic can also be described and illustrated with easy to understand discussions. The chapter will end with the open question to the journey: “Prejudice, can we cure it? And if we could, should we?”
