Abstract
This case reviews the approach to individuals who are overweight or obese, including assessment for the presence of a feeding and eating disorder and management strategies. The discussion offers information about overweight and obesity relevant to clinical care and resources available to clinicians and the general public. The calculation and interpretation of body mass index (BMI) are reviewed.
