Abstract

In this paper, we use grey correlation analysis method to make an empirical analysis of the logistics development of Chongqing. According to the time sequence, we respectively determined the Chongqing freight volume and four major characteristics of the transportation mode of freight volume as behavior sequences. Analysis result shows that the Chongqing agriculture is still in an important position, and its output value and the main agricultural production have large correlation with the highway and railway freight volumes, and the living level of urban and rural residents is also the same. Finally, we give some suggestion to structure urban transportation network, strengthen regional cooperation and construct cross-regional transportation network, and so on, which may play a positive role to promote the development of Chongqing logistics. Meanwhile, as one of the Karst areas, the development of Chongqing’s experience also provides a good case for the others.
