Abstract
The objective of this first chapter is to introduce some of the basic features of IBM SPSS Statistics. Essentially, much can be achieved in a short space of time once the user has become used to accessing and making selections from the various descriptive menus and dialogue boxes that are available. Most tasks may be performed by simply pointing and clicking the mouse.
