Abstract
The rate of postoperative complications following robotic assisted partial nephrectomy has been reported to range from 5.1 to 33% with major (Clavien ≥3) complications occurring in 1.6–8.2% of patients. The rate of intraoperative complications at the time of robotic assisted partial nephrectomy ranges from 0 to 6.5%. This chapter will aim to discuss the causes, prevention, and management of the more common types of intraoperative and postoperative complications of robotic assisted partial nephrectomy.
