Abstract

Implanting ICRS in keratoconic patients is considered a safe surgical procedure mainly due to the advent of the femtosecond laser technology that provides more precise and predictable size and depth of the stromal tunnels. Actually, most of the intraoperative complications have been described to occur while performing the channels with the manual technique. In this chapter, we will review the different intra and postoperative complications that the corneal surgeon may observe while implanting these devices.
