Abstract

When discussing the history of homeopathy, it is unavoidable to consider the life of its founder, Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann (1755–1843). As many excellent biographies of Hahnemann already exist, I do not feel the need to review his fascinating life in full detail here. Instead I will merely focus on those events and aspects that seem relevant to the understanding of homeopathy.
