Abstract
When the testimony upon which a devotee relies is thought to be that of God, the appropriate response to this divine revelation is that of faith. Even within religions, such as Buddhism, which have no divine revelation, there is an attitude equivalent to faith, which is considered a necessary condition of spiritual progress.
