Abstract

A 45-year-old woman presents with 4-month history of lethargy and vague abdominal pain. Her past medical history includes hypothyroidism for which she takes thyroxine. Physical examination is unremarkable. Notable blood test results are ALT 150 U/l, AST 120 U/l, ALP 100 U/l, bilirubin 10 μmol/l, albumin 40 g/l and INR 1.1. An ultrasound abdomen was normal.
