Abstract

Fourteen-year-old female, progressive neck pain in the nuchal area radiating to the head with painful contracture of the right paraspinal musculature. Pain was unrelated to weight-bearing and was increasing during the night. Physical examination revealed mild hyperreflexia, gait disturbance, positive Hoffmann sign, and clonus.
