Abstract
This chapter, appearing in the section on MRI Findings, Interpretation, and Management, reviews the issues relevant to benign MRI-guided biopsy results. The discussion includes challenges in assessing radiologic-pathologic concordance specific to MRI, approaches for discordant biopsy results, and a review of the literature on appropriate imaging follow-up recommendations for benign concordant MRI-guided breast biopsy results. High risk lesions from MRI-guided biopsy are addressed in a separate chapter.
