Abstract

Angiographic interrogation has particular advantages and conveys unparalleled information. Its therapeutic potential is mostly overlooked although angiography is generally performed in larger centers where the possibility of applying endovascular procedures and the surgical backup do normally exist. The endovascular and surgical treatments most often complete each other offering new and more patientoriented therapeutic possibilities. This chapter underscores the particular role and advantage of a technique that should be perceived in its entirety. Illustrative cases are added, stressing the particular indications of the endovascular approach.
