Abstract
These dural-based lesions are thought to derive from the leptomeningeal melanocytes. They include circumscribed mass lesions, melanocytoma and malignant melanoma, and diffuse leptomeningeal melanocytosis (DLM) and its malignant counterpart, melanomatosis.
