Health is a complex phenomenon, analogous to which leisure can also be considered as holistic: It affects our physical, mental and emotional well-being (health), promotes social integration, socialises, educates, exercises an effect on balancing sexual energies, it can be the means of expressing our identity, and its performance is connected to our natural and built environment.
