Abstract
Dr. Lynn E. DeLisi is an Attending Psychiatrist at VA Boston Healthcare System and Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School in Massachusetts, USA. She has been at the vanguard of schizophrenia research throughout her career, most notably in her use of neuroimaging and genetics to investigate the longitudinal biological outcomes of schizophrenia. She currently serves on the advisory committee of the Schizophrenia International Research Society, is President-elect, and is a founding editor of one of the society’s journals, Schizophrenia Research, which is the largest scientific journal reporting findings exclusively in the field of schizophrenia research. She has authored a best-selling book entitled “100 Questions and Answers about Schizophrenia: Painful Minds,” which provides practical answers to patients with schizophrenia and their families.
