Abstract

In this paper we extended the simulator based on the TRIANA concept, with a model for the heat demand of households. The heat demand is determined based on factors such as building properties, user setpoints and weather conditions. The simulator exploits the flexibility of both the electricity and heat components to optimize the stream of both commodities, heat and electricity.
