Abstract
Taman Chernichevsky sat watching the news with his cousin, the bartender, at an apartment just three blocks from the café that was now been cordoned off and had been descended upon by half of Rio’s security forces and police investigators. There was a knock at the door. Alberto took his handgun from under a pillow on the sofa where Taman sat nervously chewing on beef jerky.
