Acknowledgments

With gratitude for the contributions and support from my editor, Victoria Weill-Hagai, and all who bring mindfulness to frail elders and caregivers. I received teaching suggestions and contributions from Laura Peters, Human Resources Development and Learning Manager, Kendal (assisted living) at Ithaca, NY; Peter and Mo Henderson, mindfulness teachers, Manchester, UK; Ellen Dimille, volunteer, Converse Home, Burlington VT.; and Barbara Pickut, MD, Parkinson’s Movement Disorders Program, Mercy Health Hauenstein Neurosciences, Grand Rapids, MI. For teaching mindfulness in the community to low-income elders, Amy Connelly and ELDERSHINE offer a guiding light. And my dear Elana (Rosenbaum) who brings mindfulness to everything and everybody, teacher, and colleague. I bow to you all and to the elders and caregivers whose patience allows us to learn and grow!
