Abstract
Some renewable energy sources have been used by humanity from the beginning of its existence, especially biomass, solar energy, wind energy, and hydraulic energy. We can find some examples for the traditional use of energy resources in sailing, in the windmills and watermills, or in the constructive dispositions of buildings to harness the solar power.
