Abstract
Companies frequently report a number of problems when implementing Just-in-Time (JIT) philosophy in their production systems. Literature review in this book indicated that these issues are often due to the absence of an element that is required for the successful functioning of the philosophy. Thus, the absence of these elements is what causes that companies experience a slow progress in the implementation of a JIT system.
