Abstract

Each chapter of this book provides a perspective on key aspects of the given QoE managment proposition. This final chapter, reflects on each of these contributions, their main points and how they tie-together to form an approach for addressing the challenges of QoE management. Here, the main conclusions of each chapter are summarized in the context of the motivation given for the QoE ‘learning’ management proposition, mainly that the complexity of the multimedia systems is increasing, along with the diversification of content, devices and the evolution in user expectations. Furthermore, it continues to discuss work in the community that builds upon or is closely related to the given proposition. Finally it presents few open questions and directions for the future work in this domain.
