Abstract
Data for diseases among firefighters other than cancer and heart disease are often unavailable and difficult to interpret when they can be found. This chapter addresses the general problem of tracking diseases that are not covered by registries, such as cover cancer, and that are rarely fatal or not reliably recorded in death certificates. It then proceeds through categories of systemic and other disorders summarizing what is known regarding the risk of each.
