Abstract

We begin our journey to the small bodies in our solar system with asteroids. These are one of the two most famous types of small solar system bodies. If asked, the man on the street would most probably confirm that they had heard of asteroids. Yet, the knowledge he has is often limited to Hollywood movies or news in the media.
