Abstract
In this chapter, the factors influencing climate diversity in the area of the Arctic are discussed. Then literature describing climate regionalization in the Arctic is shortly summarized. Substantial part of the chapter is devoted to the description of most important features of climate in seven distinguished climate regions: the Atlantic region, the Siberian region, the Pacific region, the Canadian region, the Baffin Bay region, the Greenland region, and the Interior Arctic region.
