Abstract
The Eckert–Mauchly Computer Corporation (EMCC) was founded by Presper Eckert and John Mauchly in 1947. It was one of the earliest computer companies in the world, and it pioneered some fundamental computer concepts such as the stored program, subroutines, programming languages and compilers.
