Fundamental Properads of Infinity Properads

Abstract

We give an explicit description of the fundamental properad LK of an -properad K. The fundamental properad of an -properad consists of homotopy classes of 1-dimensional elements. It takes a bit of work to prove that there is a well-defined homotopy relation among 1-dimensional elements and that a properad structure can be defined on homotopy classes.
